TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) — The Twin Falls School District wants voters to approve a new $7.2 million levy this November.

The district is looking to replace the current $5.7 million levy, which expires next year. The new proposed levy would last for two years.

The district plans to fund school resource officers, staff salaries, maintenance costs, and student activities.

District leaders say the additional money is needed due to increased costs, the end of federal COVID relief funds, and the loss of state lottery funds.
