LC State business degree receive specialized reaccreditation

LEWISTON, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) — Three degrees within Lewis Clark State College’s Business & Computer Science Division have received a specialized accreditation by the International Accreditation Council for Business Education (IACBE). Degrees include a bachelor’s in accounting, business administration and business management.

LC State underwent an 11-part process consisting of application materials, site visits, self-study drafts, attending and accreditation review by the IACBE Board of Commissioners and more.

According to the announcement by IACBE, “…the Business and Computer Science Division has demonstrated a commitment to continuous improvement, excellence in business education, and advancing academic quality in its business programs and operations.”

Recognition of this achievement will occur at the 2025 IACBE meeting in April 2025.

The approval began Aug. 1 and will be effective until July31, 2023
