BOISE, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) — The Associated Press has projected on Wednesday morning that Idaho Constitutional Amendment HJR 5 will pass.

As of 1:30 a.m., 471,894 Idahoans have voted in favor of the amendment, according to the Associated Press. About 259,265 voted to reject the amendment.

The proposed amendment will amend Section 2, Article VI of the Idaho Constitution, prohibiting non-citizens from voting in Idaho elections.
