Fatal accident near Tuttle

TUTTLE, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) — Idaho State Police (ISP) are investigating a fatal accident that occurred at approximately 11:45 p.m. on Feb. 24.

A 29-year-old female, of Twin Falls, was driving a 2000 Subaru Legacy westbound on Interstate 84 near mile marker 147. She drove off the shoulder, overcorrected then crossed to the westbound lanes and the off-ramp. The Subaru rolled and came to a stop north of the interstate.

The off-ramp was blocked for over three hours.

ISP, Gooding Sheriff’s Office, Wendell Fire Department, Gooding EMS and Air St. Luke’s assisted the scene.

The female was not wearing a seatbelt and died at the scene of the crash.

This incident remains under investigation.
