UPDATE: Payton Murrieta located safe according to Nampa PD

NAMPA, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) — UPDATE: Per the AWARE Foundation and Nampa PD, Payton Murrieta was located safe.
She was found on Wednesday night at 11:20 p.m. No other information has been provided as to where she was found or who she was with.
ORIGINAL STORY: The family of the missing 12-year-old Nampa girl, who has been missing since last Friday morning, March 15, are worried that she may have been enticed by an internet stranger.
The Nampa Police Department continues to search for the endangered girl, who was reported to have been last seen at 4:55 a.m. last Friday by her mother, Ali Devonne of Nampa.
According to a report by the Idaho Statesman, Payton Murrieta may have met up with an unknown male she met online, and her family is concerned as they found her profile on a dating website, which claimed that she was 18.
Devonne told the Idaho Stateman that she turned her daughter’s phone into the Nampa Police Department for clues after she went missing. The mother said that she could not access her daughter’s phone because of the lock screen but could see notifications from a dating site.
Payton’s family has taken time off work to look for her, and a family friend has created a verified GoFundMe page to try and help support the family and to help with lost income.
Payton’s last text to her mother was to thank her and to tell her she loves her, “my beautiful mom.”
The Nampa Police Department reports that they do not have any updates and are urging anyone who might know anything to contact their department at (208)465-2257.
