BUHL, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) — According to a social media post by the Buhl Police Department, at 5:00 PM Tuesday evening, a call was dispatched to 140 Broadway Avenue South for a report of a person having chest pain.

When Buhl Police Officers, along with Fire and EMS arrived on scene, they found the incident to be located at 130 Broadway Avenue South with multiple individuals in need of immediate medical care. Two businesses share that location, Walker Flooring and Design and Desert Sage Concepts.

Due to the risk of a possible hazmat incident, Buhl Fire Chief Andrew Stevens contacted the State Commissioner’s to create a bridge call for a potential environmental hazmat incident.

The building was inspected, and it was found that no environmental hazards were discovered. The scene was then cleared of any danger or threat to the public.

All patients were transported to St. Luke’s Medical Center for immediate care, due to protected patient information, no other details of this incident will be released.

The Buhl Police Department posted that they would like to extend special “Thank You” to the Buhl Fire Department, Filer Police Department and Filer QRU, Twin Falls County Sheriff’s Office, Magic Valley Paramedics and Idaho State Police for their quick response and assistance.
