UPDATE: Buhl street closed off as officials investigated suspicious incident

Law enforcement told KMVT that there were no environmental hazards and the incident was being investigated as a medical emergency.

BUHL, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) — The corner of Broadway Avenue South and Walnut Street in Buhl was closed off Tuesday evening, as officials investigated a suspicious incident that forced evacuations within the area.

The 911 call came in around 5:10 p.m.

The owner of Walker’s Flooring and Design Center called KMVT to inform us his salesman discovered three men inside the warehouse of Desert Sage Concepts in need of medical attention. Desert Sage Concepts is located right behind Walker’s.

According to Buhl Police Chief, Jeremy Engbaum and Fire Chief, Andrew Stevens, the incident is being treated as a medical emergency and there is no threat to the public.

Law enforcement on the scene also said that there were no signs of environmental hazards.
