Judge John Judge sets trail date for Bryan Kohberger

BOISE, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) —Bryan Kohberger, the man accused of killing four University of Idaho students, has gotten his trial date set.
This morning Idaho Judge John Judge decided that Kohbergers trial would be in June 2025.
According to AP News, Judge wants to set aside two weeks for jury selection, two months for the trial and two weeks at the end for sentencing and other matters if Kohberger is convicted.
Kohbergers lawyers filed a motion to move the trial from Latah County, fearing that in Moscow, where the murders took place, wouldn’t offer him a fair trial. The state agreed to this date for trial and another hearing regarding the change of venue is scheduled for late August.
“We reviewed the court’s proposed scheduling order with the attorney team and we are agreeable to it. It makes sense that we do the trial in the summertime when high school is out across the street and when the university is out and the conflicting activities, um, and the schedule of your honor proposes acceptable to the state,” the State stated.
Kohberger faces four counts of murder in deaths.
