Community holds state sendoff for Wendell soccer
The Wendell Trojans earned the No. 1 seed in the 4A State Soccer Tournament and the school held a sendoff as the team took in the moment.
WENDELL, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) — It was a special day in Wendell on Tuesday as the community gathered to cheer on the boy’s soccer team.
The Wendell Trojans earned the No. 1 seed in the 4A State Soccer Tournament and the school held a sendoff as the team took in the moment.
After walking through the school, the boys got on a bus and rode by the elementary school and through Main Street as the support continued to roll in.

Wendell will play No. 8 Weiser in the first round on Thursday at 12:30.
The tournament will be held in Post Falls.
