Canyon Ridge boys and girls soccer teams advance to district championship

TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) — Semi-Finals district soccer action continued Tuesday in the High Country Conference.
No. 2 Canyon Ridge hosted No. 3 Madison.
Sophomore Saka Jonas opened up the scoring beating the keeper to give the Riverhawks a 1-0 lead.
Senior captain Blake Shultz made it 2-0 finishing a cross from Lucas Escobar.
Madison would pull one back but the Riverhawks would win 2-1 and advance to the championship and will take on Thunder Ridge on Thursday.
Canyon Ridge girls 1, Madison 0
The Riverhawks will take on Highland on Thursday on the road for the title.
