Valley volleyball sweeps Oakley; Monday Idaho prep scores

HAZELTON, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) — The Valley Vikings volleyball team hosted the Oakley Hornets on Monday for Pink Night for breast cancer awareness.

It was a battle at the top of the Snake River conference as the Hornets looked to remain unbeaten in conference play.

Valley, however, put on a show in front of the home crowd as they handed Oakley its first conference loss, sweeping the Hornets 3-0.

The Vikings are back in action on Wednesday when they travel to Hagerman to take on the Pirates.

Oakley will host Glenns Ferry on Wednesday.

  • Brook Parker and Brooklyn Goodrich each had nine kills and three aces in the win while Reese Hills had seven kills.
  • Brekk Bowman had six kills and two aces while Aubrey Westling added 17 assists.
