BUHL, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) — An exciting soccer game between some of the top teams in the 4A High Desert Conference on Monday as the Buhl Indians girls team (8-3-2, 7-2-2) hosted the Kimberly Bulldogs (9-4-0, 8-3-0).

Kimberly won 1-0 when the two met earlier in September.

Buhl got off to a quick start with two first-half goals from Liesl Kimball and a score from Keala Jaynes to give the Indians a 3-0 lead.

The Bulldogs fought back with goals from Reagan Hufstetler and Cassidy Johnson to pull within a goal.

Junior Kierra Thompson would put the game beyond reach, however, with a fourth goal late in the game to give Buhl a 4-2 win.

The Indians are back in action Wednesday when they travel to take on Filer.

Kimberly will host Sun Valley Community School on Wednesday.
