Wendell boys, Buhl girls pick up wins in soccer; Monday scores

TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) — The Wendell Trojans boys soccer team defeated Filer 5-1 in a road contest, while the Buhl Indians girls soccer team took down the Bliss Bears in shutout fashion, 4-0.
Buhl used four first half goals, two each from Kierra Thompson and Pemberley Kimball, and that proved to be all that the Indians needed in the win over Bliss.
Wendell and Filer were deadlocked in a 1-1 tie midway through the first half before Wendell scored four unanswered to pull away with the big victory.
