CSI men’s basketball struggled Saturday afternoon in loss to No. 1 Snow College

EPHRAIM, Utah (KMVT/KSVT) — The CSI men’s basketball team (16-4, 4-1) put its unbeaten SWAC play to the test Saturday after going against No. 1 Snow College (19-1, 5-0).

CSI struggled in the early going, trailing Snow by 20 at the half.

The Golden Eagles would cough up 22 turnovers and would fall to the Badgers losing 110-82.

CSI shot the ball well going 45.9 percent from the floor but the Badgers would capitalize scoring 32 points off turnovers.

Khayri Dunn led CSI in scoring with 17 points but struggled to handle the ball with 11 turnovers.

Walker Timme scored 11 points while Tanner Hayhurst and Marcus (DJ) Fizer Jr. scored 10 points each.

CSI is back in action Thursday on the road against Salt Lake Community College.
