PRICE, Utah(KMVT/KSVT) — The College of Southern Idaho basketball teams continue to impress in conference play.

Both women’s and men’s squads were on the road Thursday night in Price, Utah for matchups with Utah State University Eastern.

The No.13 Lady Golden Eagles (16-3, 4-0) picked up a nailbiter winning 63-60 to improve to 4-0 in the Scenic West Athletic Conference.

CSI trailed by a point entering the fourth quarter but would get the win thanks to a strong 18-point performance from sophomore Kennedy Gillette.

Macie Brown added 10 points and five rebounds in the win and Samarra Morrow scored eight.

CSI will play on the road against Snow College on Saturday at 1:00 p.m.

The No. 16 CSI men’s team (16-3, 4-0) followed with a dominant 77-57 win over Utah State University Eastern.

Amarco Doyle went off for 24 points in the win along with seven rebounds.

Walker Timme scored 15 and grabbed six rebounds in his eighth start of the season coming off injury. Khayri Dunn finished in double figures scoring 13.

CSI will now play No. 1 Snow College on the road Saturday afternoon in a showdown. Tipoff set for 3:00 p.m.
