CSI guard Khayri Dunn named SWAC Player of the Week

Dunn averaged 16 points per contest, along with 3.5 assists and 3.0 rebounds as the Golden Eagles went 2-0 on the week against then No. 4 Salt Lake Community College and Colorado Northwestern Community College.

TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) — College of Southern Idaho freshman guard Khayri Dunn has been named the Scenic West Athletic Conference Player of the Week.

Dunn averaged 16 points per contest, along with 3.5 assists and 3.0 rebounds as the Golden Eagles went 2-0 on the week against then No. 4 Salt Lake Community College and Colorado Northwestern Community College.

He also shot 51 percent from the field in the wins as CSI extended its win streak to five games and remains unbeaten in conference play.

Dunn has averaged 11.1 points this season.

No. 16 CSI (15-3, 3-0 SWAC) is on the road Thursday against Utah State University Eastern followed by a blockbuster matchup Saturday afternoon at No. 1 Snow College.
