CSI women’s basketball cruises by Southern Western CC on final day of the Arizona Western Invitational

YUMA, Arizona (KMVT/KSVT) — Nothing but dominance Wednesday afternoon for the Lady Golden Eagles.
The College of Southern Idaho women’s basketball team (11-3) came to play and beat Southwestern Community College 104-27 on the last day of the Arizona Western Invitational.
Yes, that isn’t a typo.
No. 8 CSI won by 77 points to close out 2024.
Freshman forward Savannah Stoker led CSI with 22 points in the win.
Kennedy Gillette finished with 12 while Ashley Garner and Mariah Mons had 10 each.
The Golden Eagles shot 61.6 % from the field in the win.
CSI is back in action in 2025 when the Golden Eagles travel to take on Treasure Valley Community College on Jan. 2nd.
