YUMA, Arizona (KMVT/KSVT) — The College of Southern Idaho women’s basketball team (10-3) suffered its second straight loss on Tuesday afternoon.

No. 8 CSI fell to Central Arizona College 60-54 on Day Two of the Arizona Western Invitational.

The Golden Eagles shot 4-27 (14.8 %) from beyond the arc in the loss.

Freshman Ashley Garner recorded a double-double scoring 10 points with 13 rebounds.

Samara Morrow scored 14 and Kennedy Gillette had 13.

Central Arizona’s Madison Holden and Audrey Quintana scored 43 of the 60 points.

CSI wraps up the invitational on Wednesday against Southwestern Community College.
