CSI's Ashley Garner named SWAC Player of the Week

TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) — A player on the College of Southern Idaho women’s basketball team took home the Scenic West Athletic Conference (SWAC) player of the week.
Freshman forward Ashley Garner was named the conference player of the week after averaging a double-double over the past week with 11.5 Points and 11 rebounds per game.
Garner’s play helped CSI to 30-point victories over Northeastern Junior College and Columbia State Community College.
In the game against Columbia, Garner set her career high in points with 12, and the night prior set her career high with 12 boards against Northeastern.
Garner will look to continue this level of play in the Golden Eagles two games this weekend as well.
