No. 1 Carey Panthers dominates Wallace to advance to semi-finals of state playoffs
Carey advances to the semi-finals and will play No. 5 Garden Valley.

TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) — Dominant is what you would classify as the 2024 Carey Panthers football team.
No. 1 Carey steamrolled No. 7 Wallace 86- 8 on Friday night to book its ticket to the 1A semi-finals.
The Panthers controlled every aspect of the game and scored 22 points on their first five offensive plays.
Matthew Young opened the scoring with a 4-yard touchdown followed by a 31-yard score from quarterback Preston Wood.
Wood then connected to Young for 23 yards as the Panthers opened the floodgates.
Carey advances to the semi-finals and will play No. 5 Garden Valley.
