Buhl, Sun Valley girls soccer advance to district championship
The Indians will travel and take on Sun Valley Community School on Wednesday in the championship.
BUHL, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) — District soccer heated up on Monday for semi-final action in both the boys and girls 4A High Desert Conference.
The action started at Buhl High School as the No. 2 Indians girls team hosted No. 3 Kimberly.
These two split the regular season at one win apiece.
Buhl got on the board in the 21st minute with a beautiful free-kick goal from sophomore Lauren Hirsch.

Sophomore Lauren Hirsch gave the Indians a spark in the first half with this free-kick goal.

Kimberly would respond minutes later as freshman Emily Higbee tied the game after confusion with the Buhl defense.
Tied at the half 1-1, the Indians came out of the break swinging.
Senior Olivia Cervantes would net two goals while junior Kierra Thompson would add another as Buhl would win 4-1.
The Indians will travel and take on Sun Valley Community School on Wednesday in the championship at 4:00 p.m.
Kimberly will host Bliss on Wednesday in an elimination game at 4:00 p.m.
