Bulldog to Golden Eagle: Kimberly’s Emerson Heatwole to play volleyball at CSI
Heatwole was the 2024 Sawtooth Central Idaho Conference Libero of the Year, helping the Bulldogs to their fourth district title and a third-place finish at state.
TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) — From a Bulldog to a Golden Eagle.
Kimberly senior volleyball player Emerson Heatwole made it official and signed to play for the College of Southern Idaho on Tuesday to continue her academic and athletic career.
Choosing CSI was an easy choice.
“I’ve always gone to their games since I was little and staying close was really important to me,” Heatwole told KMVT. “I loved all the coaches and girls too.”
Heatwole was the 2024 Sawtooth Central Idaho Conference Player of the Year, helping the Bulldogs to their fourth district title and a third-place finish at state.
She helped Kimberly to a state championship in 2022 and third place in 2023.
Heatwole was named 3A All-State first team as a junior.
Now she’s ready to trade for some new threads in black and gold.
“I’m excited because I know a lot of the girls now since I’ve practiced with them a few times and just being able to stay close to home and have people come to watch me will be really fun,” Heatwole said.
KMVT can’t wait to see her play in town for CSI.
