IDAHO FALLS, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) — The Twin Falls Bruins are the 2024 5A state volleyball champions after a 2-0 win over Lakeland in the title match.

The Bruins entered the day in the winner’s final against No. 3 Idaho Falls and quickly fell behind 2-0 before they switched to another gear.

The entire Bruins lineup stepped up huge during the comeback, but the kills from Molly Hodge were huge not only on the scoreboard, but for momentum as well.

After tying the game at two, Twin Falls took firm control of things in set three and Ava Martin recorded the kill to send the Bruins to the title match.

In the title game, Twin Falls took on a Lakeland team that they swept in the opening round of the tournament.

Unfortunately for the Bruins, the Hawks were warm from the game prior and came out with a vengeance, sweeping Twin Falls to set up a winner-take-all best two out of three.

In the final match, Twin Falls settled back in to how they played in the latter sets against Idaho Falls and a kill from Rylee Hansen finished things off and gave Twin Falls their second state title.

Congratulations to the Twin Falls Bruins!
