TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) — Friday was the second day of the state volleyball tournaments around the state and also the first day teams could be eliminated, but two of our area teams have set themselves up in prime position for a run at the title on Saturday.

Wood River def. Columbia (3-0)

Twin Falls def. Bonneville (3-1; Bruins secure top three and spot in winner’s final against Idaho Falls on Saturday at 11:00 a.m.)

Wood River def. Bonneville (3-1; Wolverines will play top-seeded Lakeland on Saturday at 9:00 a.m. in a loser out game.)

Kimberly def. Fruitland (3-2; Bulldogs will play top-seeded Bear Lake in the winner’s finals on Saturday at 12:00 p.m.)

Troy def. Oakley (3-0)

Hagerman def. Genesis Prep (3-1; will play Oakley on Saturday at 9:00 a.m. in a loser out game.)
