Twin Falls volleyball advances to district semi-finals; Monday District volleyball results
District volleyball is amping up in the area with four big games from Monday.
TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) — District volleyball is amping up in the area with four big games from Monday.
The action started at Twin Falls High School as the top-seeded Bruins hosted the Minico Spartans.
The Bruins swept the Spartans both times in the regular season and would make it three straight beating Minico 3-1 (25-22, 23-25, 25-23, 25-21)
Twin Falls will host No. 2 Wood River on Tuesday. The winner advances and will host the district championship on Thursday.
Minico will take on Burley on Tuesday in a loser-out game.

5A Great Basin Conference
Wood River 3, Burley 1 (25-23 17-25, 25-17, 25-15)
- Wood River will travel and play Twin Falls in the semi-finals on Tuesday.
- Burley will host Minico in a loser-out game.
1A Sawtooth Conference
Carey 3, Hansen 1 (25-16, 25-17, 30-32, 25-19)
- The Panthers move on to the championship game Tuesday against Dietrich. The game will be held at CSI at 7:00 p.m.
- Hansen will play Camas County at 5:00 at CSI in an elimination game.
