CSI splits opening day of UFirst Intermountain Invite
The Golden Eagles bounced back in game two as they knocked off No. 9 Trinity Valley 3-1.

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah (KMVT/KSVT) — The College of Southern Idaho volleyball team (5-9) was in action on Friday competing in the Ufirst Intermountain invite in Salt Lake City, Utah.
CSI split its two games.
They started the day matched up with No. 3 New Mexico Military Institute and fell 3-0 (25-23, 25-21, 25-15)
Sophomore Dorina Bogar led CSI with nine kills while Mina Benucci and Jada Thomas-Swinson had five each.
Jenna Riley led the team with 29 assists while recording 11 digs and five blocks.
The Golden Eagles bounced back in game two as they knocked off No. 9 Trinity Valley 3-1 (25-23, 19-25, 28-26, 25-20).
Bogar led with 15 kills and 19 digs, Kelsey Stanger had 14 kills, and Thomas-Swinson with 11 kills and seven blocks.
Riley had five kills, six digs, five blocks, and 47 assists.

CSI is back in action on Saturday when they wrap up the weekend to play No. 8 Weatherford College.
