Kenneth Dale Seesee
February 21, 2025, Age 81

BURLEY, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) — Kenneth Dale Seesee, an 81-year-old resident of Burley, passed away Friday, February 21, 2025, at his home with his loving wife by his side.
Ken was born August 9, 1943, in Boise, Idaho, to Kenneth A. Seesee and Stella Heath Seesee. He grew up on a farm in Hammett, Idaho, and graduated from Glenns Ferry High School in 1961. Ken continued his education at Idaho State University from 1961-1965 where he received his airframe and powerplant certificate in aircraft mechanics. While attending ISU, Ken met and married Betty Jean Price in 1963. He worked for JR Simplot until 1966, at which time he enlisted in the U.S. Air Force. He served for four years and worked on jet engines. He was discharged in 1970 and went back to work for JR Simplot as a machinist/welder until he retired in 2008.
In 1973, Ken and Betty’s only son, Michael, was born. He was the light of their lives. They enjoyed many camping trips together. In later years, Ken and Betty traveled extensively in America and several other countries.
Ken was an active member of the Ebenezer Congregational Church in Paul. Ken’s mission was to share God’s word with others. He was dedicated to the Jail Ministry of Mini-Cassia for 36 years and taught Sunday School at the church. He was known as a man who had God’s word in his heart and was dedicated to reading and studying his bible daily. Although Ken is with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, he leaves his friends and family with many loving memories.
Ken is survived by his wife, Betty Jean, and two sisters, Lenora (Dave) Fields and Ginger (Martin) Siegwein. One brother; Tom A. Seesee (Olga). Along with many nieces and nephews.
Ken was preceded in death by his parents and his son, Michael David Seesee.
The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, February 27, 2025, at the Ebenezer Congregational Church at 121 North 2nd West, in Paul, Idaho, with Pastor Matt Love officiating. Interment will follow at Pleasant View Cemetery in Burley, where military honors will be provided by the Mini-Cassia Veterans Group.
Family and friends will be received from 5 until 7 p.m. on Wednesday, February 26, 2025, at Rasmussen-Wilson Funeral Home. It is located at 1350 E. 16th Street, in Burley, and from 10 until 10:45 a.m., before the service at the church.
In lieu of flowers, the family would like to suggest memorials be directed to the Ebenezer Congregational Church memorial fund or a charity of your choice. The family would also like to thank Intermountain Home Health & Hospice in Burley for their kind and loving care for Ken.
