Behind the Business: The Magic Tea House
FILER, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) —Calling all tea lovers! This business has tea from all over the world.
“You can take a plant, dry it out, and drink it to feel better. That’s magic,” Kelly Lineberry, owner of The Magic Tea House said.
The business started after Lineberry realized there were no tea houses in the area, “I’ve been into teas and herbs, and the Magic Valley didn’t have a tea house. And that was right when COVID hit.”
The business started during the COVID pandemic.
“We opened during COVID, and we came up with, or I came up with a series of seven teas that people could take to help offset what they were feeling,” Lineberry explained.
The tea house has teas for every season.
Some winter tea recommendations are, “If you want warm and cozy, definitely a spicy chai. Our biggest seller is our Baked Apple Pie Alamo.”
The tea house has a collection of herbs from different parts of the world, not just from the United States, “Japanese, Chinese, Kenyan, and America.”
These herbs are what brings the magic to The Magic Tea House, “You’re putting together your herbs, and you get something perfect for you. That’s what it is, it’s magic.”
