TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) — The South Central Community Action Partnership is looking for a new board member from the Mini-Cassia area.

SCCAP’s goal is to help struggling families by providing assistance with rent, utilities, food, and heating bills.

They have Twin Falls and Burley offices to serve the South Central Community in Idaho.

Right now, they want to find a low-income individual from the Mini-Cassia area who works with low-income individuals and knows their struggles.

“It helps us because it gives their point of view, you know, if we don’t have that point of view, it helps us make better considerations and decisions. When those arise, we’ll have that input and we can take that into consideration,” said Angie Carter, CEO of the South Central Community Action Partnership.

This board member’s duties include attending board meetings every other month, which they can attend virtually if they can’t attend in person.
