Suspect in custody after issuing threats to Kimberly School District
KIMBERLY, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) — Police have resolved a recent threat made against the Kimberly School District.
Officers have taken an individual into custody through a coordinated investigation with school officials and law enforcement, according to a press release from the Kimberly Hansen Police Department on Sunday.
Charges will be filed against the lone individual with the Twin Falls County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office, according to police. There will be an increased security presence at the district schools, according to police.
As the investigation is ongoing, authorities urged anyone with information to email or call Chief Sjuni Bunderson at 208-423-4153.
The police said no further information will be released at this time.
