Behind the Business: Toasted Buns Tanning

TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) — You’re probably not getting too much sun these days with colder temperatures and less daylight, but one Magic Valley business’s goal is to keep you golden year-round.

“The thing you can expect when you walk in is a great atmosphere,” Kendra Gonzalez, one of the owners said.

“Toasted Buns Tanning” owners, Kendra and Jesus Gonzalez, opened this business in July.

Nestled along Fillmore street, just south of Poleline, the Gonzalez’s are turning to new tanning technology to make their business stand out.

“We have German technology equipment that is brand new. When I say brand new, I mean brand new bulbs, brand new beds and it just creates that amazing elevated experience for our clients,” Kendra explained.

They say the name “Toasted Buns” comes from days of brainstorming to see what name and logo would look best.

“I thought it was really fun, catchy and here we are,” Jesus said.

Kendra is a native of Twin Falls and says she opened “Toasted Buns” to help people.

“We’re here to help you, we’re here to make a great experience for you and show you what we can offer you,” Kendra stated.

They’re open Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and are located at 1563 Fillmore St Ste 1C in Twin Falls.
