Behind the Business: Idaho Skin Institute
TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) — If you’re looking to protect your skin better, on this week’s Behind the Business, we’re speaking to a dermatologist at the Idaho Skin Institute in Twin Falls. The Idaho Skin Institute dedicates itself to skincare needs of all ages in the Chubbuck, Burley, Twin Falls and Rexburg communities.
No matter what the specific skin care concern is, adults and children can expect genuine and personalized care that helps them achieve or maintain healthy, beautiful skin. The institute offers high-quality services to address acne, cysts, psoriasis, eczema, vitiligo, and more. They also offer cosmetic services, such as Botox and filler injections, micro needling, and chemical peels.
The dermatology team also provides skin checks, skin cancer diagnosis, and MOHs surgery when needed.
“Early detection is key especially for skin cancers so a lot of skin cancers, if we can catch them early, they’re really easy to treat and minor procedures, skin cancer that is neglected or caught late, they’re much more dangerous and harder to treat,” said dermatologist, Dr. Colby Bingham.
Every fourth Thursday of each month, the Idaho skin institute also provides free skin cancer screenings. Longer term treatments or skin care plans will require insurance.
“Most insurances don’t need a referral, you can just call us and we’ll get you scheduled right away, certain insurances such as medicate, which we do accept, you may have to have a referral provided by your primary care provider, but that’s pretty rare,” said Bingham.
Idaho Skin Institute does has three other locations outside of Twin Falls-- one in Pocatello, another in Burley and one in Rexburg. You can find more information on how to book an appointment Contact - Chubbuck, ID & Burley, ID: Idaho Skin Institute.
